About Lawndale Christian MAC House
Beginning Fall 2015 as part of its Workforce Development program, LCLC will provide integrated transitional housing services and job training programs for young men in North Lawndale, ages 18-24, who have come through the criminal justice system. Participants will receive a customized offering of hard skill, trades-related training designed to help them successfully begin the IUOE, Local 150 “earn while you learn” union apprenticeship program. To ensure that participants flourish in their season of training, LCLC will provide supportive residential programming that includes case management, life skills training, financial literacy, and mental health counseling.
