A graduate from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy, Aneesa came to LCLC while looking for ways to help people disentangle themselves from the justice system. During undergrad in the Washington, DC area, she worked with children who had incarcerated family members and saw the disparities that affected their lives. She wanted to use her skills with data and policy to bring about change. She is a proud West Side resident and is motivated by the Chicagoland community. She enjoys playing with her cat, Jiji; trying new restaurants in Chicago, and running along Lake Michigan.
