As a Restorative Justice practitioner and educator, and a North Lawndale resident, Tomas is thrilled to be contributing to his community through the first-of-its-kind North Lawndale Restorative Justice Community Court. He is inspired by the history of the organization and the social movements that took place in North Lawndale, and often remembers that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. lived and walked on the same block were LCLC is located. Tomas hopes to contribute to intergenerational community and peacebuilding in North Lawndale. He is motivated by his clients and seeing the health and happiness of his community as well as his team. Tomas is a graduate of DePaul University and was a fellow for the International Human Rights Law Institute. He enjoys listening to good music, the smell of grilling in the summer, and his vinyl collection.
